Into the Wild 2020 Winter Festival | 6 Day Immersion
10-16th July @ Blue Mountains
Into the Wild is a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to live erotically for an extended period of time in a natural bush setting.
It combines 6 days and 6 nights of workshops, play and artistic installations, parties and performances. You can come either for the whole festival (Friday to Thursday) (highly recommended) or for the three days only, i.e., Friday to Monday or Monday to Thursday.
The theme of the 2020 winter edition is Healing, Practice and Deep Play. Coming out of the lockdown many of us feel the yearning to reconnect with others and to play deeply. The winter edition of Into the Wild will be focussed on helping you to process the period of isolation, recalibrate your nervous system and renew your connections with body-mind, conscious erotic community and the natural environment. The festival is for people at all stages of their erotic living journeys, from beginners to those who have a lot of experience and are even leading.
Our scheduled teachers for the 2020 Winter edition include Peter Banki, Ph.D, Maya Krasna, Nicholas Linsley, Oliver Damian, Ben Tan, Isla View, Paul Walker, Nadia Nauss, Chris Johns, Ira Zev, Kim McBurnie and Ron van Twuiver. There will also be opportunity for organic creativity where participants play a role in developing the program under the guidance of experienced teachers, as always.
Practical Information
The festival will take place at a beautiful retreat sanctuary near Katoomba. It was originally a Buddhist sanctuary. As it was built for monks, there is only single bed accomodation available. Camping or caravan is also possible. (There will be love spaces set up and available to use throughout the festival.) There are single bed rooms as well as shared accomodation. Please let us know your preference when you book. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Because of the arrangement we have the owners, whether you stay in a room at the retreat or camp, caravan or stay off-site, tickets are all the same price.
If you would like a queen or king-sized bed, we recommend you book at the nearby Carrington Hotel in Katoomba or via Airbnb. The Sanctuary is only a 10 minute drive from Katoomba station (exact location given on booking).
Tickets are now on sale.
Catering for the retreat is purchased separately through Amanda from Thoughtful Food Co. Self-catering is also possible. Amanda’s retreat menu is visible by clicking on her page.
It is possible to purchase tickets through a Payment Plan here, if you purchase before July 1.
Reduced priced (helper) tickets are only available to those who experience genuine financial hardship. For the sake of the sustainability of the festival, we ask you not to take advantage of the helper reduction, if you have a regular income. If you wish to apply for a reduced price (helper) ticket, please click here.
After you book we will ask you to fill out an additional form to help us to learn a bit more about you and what your hopes and expectations are of the festival. This will help us with our festival planning and to make a better experience for you.
