Our Workshops and Ceremonies
How can nothing be erotic? Based on our own work and that of Peter Denger
Most of us know how to touch for pleasure, excitement and arousal. But what if we want touch to deepen emotional connection, create intimacy, trust and even healing? This is valuable in its own right, as well as being a beautiful starting point for sexual intimacy.
Lomi Lomi Nui is the Hawaiian "temple-style" bodywork which was originally practised by the Ka-Hunas (Hawaiian shamans) to transform and completely balance all aspects of self to create harmony and flow in a person's being. More than a massage, the ancient wisdom and Spirit of Aloha will guide, heal and inspire you towards your true potential.
By connecting with your heart, mind and body this workshop brings your awareness to your erotic being. Using yogic and tantric practices, we’ll use mindfulness, breath and movement to open your acceptance and consciousness to embrace your sexuality and sensual confidence of yourself and how you interact with others. This is the perfect way to prepare you mentally, emotionally and physically to embrace your exploration into the festival.
How can sadness and eroticism be linked? How can the energy of grief be freed? This workshop will explore the links between erotic aliveness and grief. These are two very powerful forces that make us tremble and break us open. We will connect to our ancestors and fall in each others arms. A group ritual of movement, song, and devotion
Clitoral Stroking for Deeper Intimacy
Orgasmic Meditation (OM) is a 15-minute partnered practice – between two people who know, like, and trust each other – focused on the female orgasm through direct stimulation of the clitoris, the female centre of power and pleasure.
The asylum is a space where you can rest, re-charge and where you have permission even to fall apart, if that's where you're at. The environment will be designed to calm your senses. This space is being held to allow us the chance to openly discuss the difficulties we face as individuals of diverse experience, as members of the sex positive, kink or lgbtqia+ communities. The offer is to foster a mutual understanding and empathy by giving room for discussions of the challenges we face and how they effect our mental health, relationships and life.
In this workshop, we will learn how to give and receive with joy from the heart without losing our centre, how do we cultivate a loving community based on these values
Come into an altered state with shoe worship and foot pampering.. As a prelude to entering the evening sensorium, we will create an opportunity to honour the feet and the shoes by caring and nurturing. For the receiver, this devoted and attentive practice enhances a deep sense of well being and connection without expectations allowing both the giver and receiver to prepare for their journey.
Learn simple yet powerful techniques to experience longer, deeper, and expanded orgasms. Explore ancient and modern Tantra Yoga methods for an array of tingling, pulsating, and vibrating, sensations throughout your whole body. Play with breath, movement, sound, and visualisations to activate energy in yourself and others. Full body orgasm is not just a skill for more pleasure in intimacy, it can also release tensions in the body, clear emotions, and allow you to feel multidimensional experiences of peace, freedom, and sublime connection with the blissful nectar of life itself. Please bring a face towel and scarf (or light weight towel) to the workshop.
The workshop will explore the erotic potential of abstaining from something one craves, deferral of pleasure, asceticism, uncertainty or even rejection.
We will pay attention to the subtle (or strong!) sensations and emotions that arise in the absence of reward and relish the exquisite frustration that shows up when something that you desire is within your reach and yet, unavailable. We will sit in the charged space between desire and its gratification and explore what might happen if we do not (yet) go for what we want.
Arrive on a slightly empty stomach, if you dare.
Join us for an evening of erotic performance and story telling featuring Ira Zev, Kim McBurnie, Don Turton, Oliver Damian, Georgia Munro, Cecilia Barker, Sarah Roffey and Peter Banki.
Fire and Ice! Tools to bring new feelings, short-circuit your nerves, learn about candle wax, ice and other sensory tools. This class will give ideas to expand the range of touch you can give to your partner.
Do you know where the G-spot is? This workshop is a hands-on and in-depth introduction to the techniques, mindsets, and practices of Female Ejaculation.
Deprivation. Removal. Refocus. In this workshop, we will provide tools to deprive your partner of their sight, hearing, voice, touch, and to control their ability to breathe. You will find new and exciting mental states as your senses and agency are restricted, one piece at a time, until you find an inner stillness.
In this workshop we will look at the ways in which fear affects the body and how we can utilise this to create a heightened sensory and erotic experience for your partner.
This session will be a process of stripping back the socialised self and dropping into a state of pure being.
This workshop will not be about complicated knots or mastery. You will learn a few of the technical basics of Japanese bondage, and discover rope as a conscious touch and a loving encounter. Bondage need not be beautiful and perfect for it to feel alive and to give pleasure. For it to go deep, it is not necessary that the rope turn you on.
Words can be powerful in wooing lovers, in love letters and during erotic and sexual encounters. Literature and poetry have for centuries and continue to play a role in relationships, to excite, entice, tease and penetrate minds and bodies. Have you ever become aroused by an email or a phrase uttered by someone? What kinds of words or literature turn you on? What would you love a lover to whisper into your ear or breathe into your mouth?
There is no celebration of the arts of love without dance, because dance is the royal road of eroticism and seduction. The workshop is a journey of body awakening and desire through dance.
Deepen your understanding of consent with Ira Zev. Learn how to feel in your body whether it is a yes or a no, and how to read the body of the other. Learn the different possibilities and dynamics of consent. And how to give feedback when things don’t work, as you may wish.
Are you curious about open relationships? Have you lost heart in them? What has gone wrong for you and what have you learned? Join us in a deeply personal exploration of where each of us are today in our open relationship journeys.
By removing our sense of sight, we enable our other senses to become more alive, such as smell, touch and intuition. When we allow the mystery of '“not knowing”, a different kind of permission arises as we gently lean into this body and the energy fields near us.
