Lucky2Bind began practicing shibari and kinbaku in Italy in 2014. His style is influenced by Italian rigger Wildties and from attending rope workshops in Australia including Avalon, Nawashi Kanna, and Erotic Living.
In developing his style, he focuses on building a connection with the person he is tying with and taking time to savour their responses: he believes in tying the person, not just the ropes. He is also interested in devleoping his technical expertise, awareness of safety and is intrigued by the aestethics of Japanese images, where the sensuality of the tied person is explored through playing with exposure (erotic shame) and surrendering to the physical sensation and restriction of rope (erotic suffering or semenawa).
When teaching, Lucky2Bind's emphasis is on helping other riggers to focus on their rope partner's reactions and taking time to create intimate connection: rope is a medium to explore emotion, intimacy and trust in ways that society doesn't often make space for.
While Lucky2Bind is a rigger and a dominant within BDSM dichotomies, he identifies as an Inducer within Prof William Moulton Marston's DISC Theory.
Open to privately share his passion for bondage, he's been a teacher long before kink entering his life and comfortable creating tailored lessons for those new to rope and those with more experience.
