In this PlayShop we will take an innovative approach. We will say that erotic confidence does not come firstly from the self, but from the other. It is the other, sometimes the other in you, who firstly bestows upon you the trust and the erotic energy, which leads you to have faith in your desire and potential to attract others.
The Conscious Body Approach to Kink
Many people are interested in kink and would like to explore it, but they fear the consquences for their relationships if they try, of hurting someone or being hurt, physically and/or emotionally. In the play shop, we will define the conscious body approach to kink, i.e., the one that is based on learning to read and listen to our own bodies and that of others.
The Allure of the Forbidden
Within contemporary erotic culture there is currently a push to make and enforce rules about how people should behave in order to ensure community safety and consent. We believe this tendency is bound up with the wish to normalise certain erotic practices and grant them mainstream acceptance and credibility.
All of that is good and probably necessary. But with rules comes also the temptation to transgress.
Orgasmic Yoga and Integration
Self-pleasuring doesn’t necessarily mean masturbation, it is finding pleasure through all kinds of self-touch in a held space with others. The final PlayShop of each month will be a two hour integration session, whose purpose is to celebrate our erotic living and guide you in ways to implement what we’ve learned in the program into our everyday lives.
We check in with each other, make friends and grow our erotic lives together.
