Into the Wild is a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to live in a sex-positive space for an extended period of time in a natural bush setting.
The 2019 Winter Edition will be held at a retreat sanctuary in the Blue Mountains near Katoomba. It will go from Friday evening until Monday morning (19-22 July). We strongly encourage you to arrive on the Friday night (preferably by 8pm). It will be possible to stay one night, two nights or three. It is not possible to arrive after 12pm on Saturday.
Into the Wild allows for organic creativity where the participants play a role in developing the program under the guidance of experienced teachers dedicated to play and pleasure. The location of the retreat is 10 minutes drive from Katoomba centre in the midst of spectacular nature. It has two studios for group activities, as well as diverse sleeping and living rooms and a big dining room.
There is a minimal structure of two daily high quality, organic catered meals, and an optional yoga or movement class every morning. The classes offer the opportunity to ground yourself and connect with the group. Everything else is not planned, but develops from day to day, according to the wishes and needs of the participants. There is no further structure, unless it is wanted.
Everyone has the opportunity to propose and facilitate classes, activities, scenarios or sessions, themes interest groups or classes, experiments or workshops. Naturally, there is no obligation to participate in anything. All activity will be in accordance with the School’s policy on Privacy, Safety and Informed Consent.
You can self-cater or purchase catering directly from the on-site caterer, who will be there for the entire week-end. It is possible to book for the whole retreat or for a part thereforeof. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. Please let us know when you book.
To encourage you to book early, payment for the week-end increases closer to the date. Tickets are currently $250 plus b/fee.Whether you come for one day or for the whole week-end, it is the same price.
There is only single bed accomodation at the retreat. (This was originally a Buddhist sanctuary.) A limited number of single bed rooms. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There are also rooms with shared accomodation. Please let us know when you book if you want shared accomodation or you own room. All accomodation at the retreat is $79 per person per night. Camping or caravan is also possible at $45 per night.
If you would like to have your own room with a double or queen-sized bed, we recommend you book at the nearby Carrington Hotel in Katoomba or via Airbnb. The retreat is only a 10 minute drive from Katoomba station (exact location given on booking).
Please Note: Into the Wild is not an event for those who are just beginning their sex-positive journey.
