My Tie / Rigger-bunny

A workshop in self-touch and self-tying.

Rope is sensitive and dynamic. It can act as a conductor of energy and tactile information. When we involve rope in our play, we work with different types of touch; from the light gliding of rope on the skin, through to firm compression as the rope wraps, frictions, cinches, and moulds our bodies into a beautiful bind and surrender. In this workshop, Luke will teach some basic principles of working with rope, connecting rope-play to sensuous, mindful and playful self-touch. We will be our own Rigger-bunnies; exploring a self-intimacy and solo kink, connecting with our touch, breath and binding.

No previous experience in roping necessary. Every body welcome.

Required materials: A comfy space; A chair; Some cushions; 3 lengths rope that are each approximately 8-10 metres and 6mm diametre; (ideally natural fibre rope: jute, hemp or cotton)
