Born in Melaka, Malaysia and based in Naarm (Melbourne), Tony Yap is one of Australia’s most innovative dancers and creative directors. In this workshop he will join Javanese Shaman, Agus Riyanto, to explore trance states in movement and ceremony.
This is a unique opportunity, suited for dancers, artists, anyone with a commitment to embodied practice and interest in heightened states. It is an introduction to Javanese bull-trance, Bantengan.
