Would you like to show the world who you are? Perhaps, like most people, you are a bit shy about showing off. We all have parts of ourselves that we feel reluctant about sharing, parts of ourselves that remained hidden - secrets that are dying to come out. In this provocative workshop, Peter, himself a shameless exhibitionist, will support you in finding the voice that sings your own praises. In a series of simple, safe, amusing exercises, you will begin to discover the inner safety that comes from allowing yourself to be seen. (This workshop has been inspired by the work of Swiss American sexologist, Maggie Tapert)
Living Erotically
“Lusty urges are most affirming when they are woven into the fabric of our lives, rather than banished to dark corners where they fester and grow hostile.” writes Jack Morin, author of The Erotic Mind, one of the seminal works in our field. How could erotic intelligence apply not only to love and intimacy, but also help with stress, anxiety, procrastination, addiction, grief, heartbreak, work, making money, political disappointment, sickness? How can the cultivation of erotic energy help us to make better life decisions and create a more just and loving culture?
Join Peter, Nadia and Jacqueline for a panel discussion of the virtues and risks of integrating erotic energy and intelligence into your everyday life.
The Pleasures of Kink
Ice & Fire
Our senses are in alert when something is too hot or too cold, and our minds tell us to be careful and avoid it. But what happens when we intentionally play with different temperatures? What happens when something is hot and cold at the same time? This workshop will provide tools to give you new ways to feel into your erotic being. Learn about candle wax, ice and other sensory tools. This class will give you many ideas, which will expand the range of ways you can touch your partner. Get ready to receive and to feel!
Being Yourself on Purpose
Society does not encourage us to be ourselves. It encourages us to conform. But when it comes to our sexuality and intimate lives, trying to fit in—or be someone else--is particularly dangerous. You will never get your needs met and you will not find the people who truly inspire and nurture you. Come on a journey with us to discover who you are as an Erotic Being and how to create intention and purpose in your life from that place!
Feeling More
Pleasure is felt. To experience pleasure fully we need to feel fully. We need to be in touch with ourselves and the partners need to be in touch with each other, which requires the ability to communicate about intimacy while being intimate. This experiential workshop will use touch to explore the elements of feeling more - safety, responsibility, authenticity, vulnerability, self-awareness, other-awareness, holding space, letting go…
Liquid Love: Bodygliding with Coconut Oil
We will experience what it is to slide over, around and on top of each other with massage oil. Liquid Love is a collective experience exploring the sensuality of flowing skin to skin contact. We will begin with dry massage in small groups with your chosen partner or partners. And then once the warm, fine, neutral oil is on your skin, you will have the option of moving in a sea together with others.
Opening Ceremony (Everyone Must Attend)
Meet the festival presenters, learn about verbal and body consent, and how best to navigate through the festival. To ensure that everyone who comes to the festival takes part in an atmosphere of informed consent, we ask that all participants attend the Opening Ceremony. If you cannot attend the Opening Ceremony, please let us know when you book and we will induct at another time during the festival.
