Love Dancing

There is no celebration of the arts of love without dance, because dance is the royal road of eroticism and seduction. The workshop is a journey of body awakening and desire through dance.

Love Dancing is created to awaken and attune our healing and creative energies, from molecular level in the deepest core of our biological being to complete transcendence. It is not concerned with learning but with remembering and recognising what belongs to our original, primary nature.

Peter Banki, Ph.D is founder and director of Erotic Living. Previously, he directed the School of Really Good Sex, and prior to that for several years he curated Xplore - Festival of the Art of Lust in Sydney.

Peter has an extensive background in Iyengar yoga, dance and the martial arts (Tai Chi, Capoeira Angola). His somatic and movement practice forms the basis of his work in the erotic field.

Peter has also been a scholar and teacher of European philosophy and literature for much of his adult life. Philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche and Georges Bataille, Anne Dufourmantelle, Avital Ronell and Jean-Luc Nancy have most inspired him in his thinking about sexuality and eroticism. Articles about Peter's work on The Festival of Really Good Sex have been featured in many news outlets, including The GuardianArcher MagazineABC Radio National and news.com. He has also been interviewed about the Festival of Death and Dying, which he also founded and directs, on ABC Radio and the Sydney Morning Herald.
